1. Introduction

Taskify is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Taskify mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

Task data: Tasks, reminders, categories, and notes are stored locally on your device and optionally synced to Firebase Firestore if you enable cloud sync.
Google account (optional): If you connect Google Calendar, we access your calendar events. We do not store your Google credentials.
Analytics: Firebase Analytics collects aggregate usage data. No personally identifiable information is collected.
Crash reports: Firebase Crashlytics may collect anonymous crash data.

3. Google Calendar Integration

If you connect your Google account, Taskify uses the Google Calendar API to read your calendar events, create events from tasks, and update or delete only events created by Taskify. We request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar scope. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Your Google data is used solely to provide the calendar integration feature and is never shared with third parties or used for advertising.

4. Data Storage

Task data is stored locally on your device. If cloud sync is enabled, data is stored in Firebase Firestore secured by Firebase Authentication.

Google AdMob: Advertising for free tier users

6. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data using the "Delete Account" option in Settings or by uninstalling the app.
